1) Abbreviation for fair average quality. This is a trade description of certain commodities that are offered for sale on the basis that the goods supplied will be equal to the average quality of the current crop or recent shipments rather than on the basis of a specification or quality sample.
2) Abbreviation for free alongside quay. See free alongside ship
3) Abbreviation for frequently asked questions. Standard answers to such questions are often prepared and made available in e. g. information and instruction manuals or in the form of automated answers
